The lamas of Salagine (Bloye)
Yes, you can see some lamas in Haute-Savoie! Bloye is a small village between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains. It is about 20 min drive from Annecy.
Dominique, the owner is passionate with his animals. He will explain a few interesting things about the lamas.
Then you can brush the lamas in a park.
You will also feed them some cereals.
You will do an obstacle course with the lamas which is fun!
After you go for a walk (from 1.5 km to 5km) in the area with the lamas (not on top of them), they are really nice and curious animals.
Lamas are also welcome to birthday parties, a different way to celebrate your child's birthday.
Total time of the visit from 2 to 3 hours.
Dominique also has a job in a factory so you need to book in advance.
He is also growing saffron and will be happy to show you the spice and give you some recipes.
